Hi all! I'm Sean, based in the US. I come at food safety from the regulatory-monitoring side rather than the plant floor: I publish FSMA Radar, a small weekly digest that tracks FDA changes (Federal Register, eCFR, enforcement activity) and translates them into what changed, who it applies to, and what to do by when.
Building it has taught me how much of the real interpretation work happens with practitioners rather than in the rule text. The format of the digest has been shaped mostly by feedback from working FSQA folks, which is also what brings me here: this forum keeps coming up as where the practical questions get worked out.
Current fixations: the FSMA 204 runway to July 2028, and the Cyclospora outbreak's traceability lessons. Happy to share what I dig up in the Federal Register whenever it's useful, and looking forward to learning from people who live this daily.
