Hello: I have just been informed that our warehouse is now going to be storing a finished product that is made at another location. This product is not in my HACCP Plan or flow diagrams. I want to reflect in my plans that it will be stored here for a short period of time but am unsure how to do this?  We are not making the product here so do I still do a HACCP plan and flow diagram with a RA that shows this?

From a GFSI perspective, you could list it as out of scope  (we cross dock some product and it's listed as out of scope)

Otherwise, i would defer you to what that customer expects from your facility and whether or not that finished good poses any risks to your products food safety

Hi Rassmutten,

As Scampi has indicated, start with a risk assessment and determine if there are any risks of contamination/cross-contamination of your products.

Kind regards,

Tony
