What is becoming more frightening is that the world is set for more industrial standards to emerge in future. Are the current industries so lacking in customer confidence or it is getting to becoming a nuisance.
Will such standards eg ISO 22000 be used as a Technical Barrier to Trade. Codex Discussion Committee often have intense dialogues on such issues. Will HACCP be the single leading food safety standard or would the "hybrid" versions overtake it.
