Dear Charlie,

I believe my source is pretty reliable and it appears that an announcement by a major food distribution chain in the UK could happen within the next 3-6 months with regards to their support from BRC- Food to ISO 22000.

If it does happen, the make over ipact would be absolutely tremendous.

Regards
Charles Chew

Dear All,

Some time back one of the forum members had come out with 'a comprehensive survey on the number of companies that have achieved ISO 22000:2005'. That was in Feb 07. Any updations after that? Can any one help with the latest list? Interest is , of course, because we will also be joining the elite club as soon as we lay our hands on the certificate.

Best Regards,

A Sankara Narayanan

Yes the poster asked me to remove the information as it was not approved for circulation. Members had already began to pull holes in the inaccuracy of the report anyhow. There is no central list available Sankara, Certification Bodies will hold their own data, but are unlikely to freely distribute it, especially if they are not doing so well.

For information I am in the process of launching an incentive which will allow active members of the forums to maintain a free entry in our food safety directory for their company. I feel this may be timely for you - more details to follow shortly.

Regards,
Simon

With the globalization of food trade and the requirements of ISO 22000, it becomes now imperative for all prime movers in the food industry to acquire the necessary skills and competence in establishing food safety management systems in their operations.

Hello from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I work for one of the largest FMCG distributor in the region and has been assigned the role of the FSTL. We (Warehousing and Distribution) are HACCP certified since 2009 and are aiming to get ISO22000:2005 by October 2012. Is there a thread for Logistics/Warehousing here? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Kishore
