Dear Roberto,
Thanks for sharing this document with us.
However I would not accept this as a mock recall report for BRC/IFS/Dutch HACCP.
What I would like to see in a mock recall report are all the steps of the recall procedure. Including the timings per activity and results in attached documents.
Examples of what to be included in the mock recall file/report:
- time of reporting incident;
- decision to call recall team together by who and which time;
- time of first meeting recall team, what was discussed, which actions were agreed;
- traceability report; at which time was the data available. Traceability should contain mass balance and list of customers.
If you have chosen a hazard/risk that could have occurred in your factory, you also should include all the relevant monitoring reports and check if other products that were produced at the same time, could have been affected. If needed do a traceability on those products too.
- decision to do a recall or not taken by who at what time.
- check contact list of involved customers and suppliers, authorities and media;
- who will sent which information to who (customers, authorities, suppliers). in real practice, it is a common made mistake that all salesmen start to call their customers, before a proper statement is established.
-evaluation of the mock recall including corrective actions (if needed)
Carine, I hope this information helps you to establish a mock recall report.
I will be happy to review your report, if you like.
Please let the forum members know, if you need a nice mock recall case. I know QA-people can be very creative in making cases for mock recalls.
