Searching for a Source of Ingredient Statement/Document Template:

I am working on creating a Raw Material - Source of Ingredient Statement/Document Template for our suppliers to fill out. I have had no luck in finding anything that gives a clear, yet simple answer.

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Best,

DK   :(

If you are looking for a template - have a look at any that you have received from your own suppliers. If it is a raw material specification sheet that you are trying to develop include the following:

  • Product Name
  • Size/Weight
  • Ingredients List (including any additives if applicable)
  • Country of Origin
  • Nutritional Information
  • Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Shelf Life information
  • Packaging information
  • Micro, Chemical, Allergen, Physical and Quality Criteria
  • Any cooking instructions for consumers (if applicable)

I am sure I have missed some other sections, but that should give you a start.

Cheers

Amanda

Thank you, Charles C. and Amanda! Truly appreciate the feedback.

I have been receiving more and more inquires asking for a statement to identify the source origin (Natural, Synthetic, Animal, Plant, Other) of a product? I am struggling with a way to format a template as I am not used to these types of technical requests.

Is there a standard list of sources that I should include on my template?

I apologize if there is any confusion and appreciate the support!

Best,

- DK
