RE:  SQF LEVEL 2

As I follow the IFSQN Food Safety Implementation Package templates, I have a few questions.

Wondering if there is someone who has used them to achieve certification and would be willing to let me ask a few general questions. :helpplease:

Please post your question here and we will try to help our best.

FYI, I also used this package and got certified in SQF Level 2

The QM templates are very comprehensive  - and I am wondering if I could simplify them a bit - (I will use QM 2.4.3 for example) - Would you necessarily need to keep all of the HACCP Principles, Instructions and tables in your plan or is it acceptable to reference the HACCP application?

The documentation packages are very comprehensive and cover everything required by the particular standard.  Of course you can edit the templates how you wish and if some are not relevant to your business you can remove them.

I can tell you cannot simply purchase the package, stick your logo on an put it on a shelf and expect to achieve certification; you will need to adapt it for your business and importantly ensure what is stated in your documented policies and procedures happens in reality.  When you buy a package it includes us helping you to adapt the documents for your business (if you need help).

If it would help I can ask Tony to contact you by email to discuss your requirements.

Hi Wischeese,

We include technical support until you achieve certification in all our implementation packages including the SQF Food Package.

QM 2.4.3 prescribes the methodology for developing your HACCP plan. All of the information does not need to be in your HACCP plan but retained in a supporting documents file so you can demonstrate how you arrived at your HACCP plan.

If you need assistance adapting the templates, support in developing your HACCP plan or anything else then please don't hesitate to contact us by PM or email.

Kind regards,

Tony
