I haven't the faintest idea about seaweed - perhaps local standards may have something in place if this is something manufactured regularly in the UK, or perhaps your customers have their own specifications. I did find this however:
Seaweed of acceptable quality should not contain more than: • Water H2O (35%) moisture content • Salt KCl (28%) - potassium chloride • Salt Free Dried Matter (34%) • Usually purple, green and white with some salt crystals are signs of good quality

I think I've read all the papers about seaweed quality but none of them had specific requirements, so I think we just need to set our own ones. And it's not a regularly manufactured product in the UK, so there are no local standards.
