Hi!
Is someone familiar with the documents that a Canadian supplier can provide in order to show good compliance standing?
As you know, this is a requirement for foreign suppliers in a country with an officially recognized or equivalent food safety system (such as Canada). This requirement says that the facility must either:
- Appears on the current version of a list, issued by the food safety authority of the country in which the foreign supplier is located and which has regulatory oversight of the supplier, of food producers that are in good compliance standing with the food safety authority; or
- Has otherwise been designated by such food safety authority as being in good compliance standing.
So, my question is what Canadian facilities have from CFIA that can show good compliance standing.
Thank you so much for your help!
