Where can I find industry standards for microbiological testing of specific foods and the acceptable ranges?

I have a Germany company looking to import various food products into the US and for budgetary reasons, they are looking for regulations and industry standards for testing contaminates for each particular food.

Thank you in advance.

Hi batejoanne,

IIRC there are some previous threads here on this specific topic. Maybe search a little.

You probably need to be more specific as to the type/presentation of foods of interest.

The most detailed Regulatory information is often available from importers.

Kind Regards,

I'm assuming for US?

I found this, but still in draft format since 2015, no update from USDA NACMCF

You can also check this website USDA National Agricultural library where they put links to websites or source for microbiological criteria

Hi batejoanne,

I assumed yr new thread was a duplicate so i joined it with previous one.

Pls avoid double posting.

If yr 2nd thread was intended to be "Global", maybe see these parallel threads (there are lots of others here) -
