Hello all :) my name's Anna and I'm happy to join this network! I work in QA in bakery manufacturing, and came across this this useful community while searching about the "big ball" or "large" (as our FSSC22000 auditor named it) validation test on metal detetctors ...does anyone have info on how it has to be performed?

Thank you in advance!

Anna

Hi Anna,

Do you mean use of a Large Test piece? Large test piece such as a 25mm Ferrous Ball is generally used in order to test the capability of the Metal detector to detect large Metal foreign objects. Hope that helps.

Regards,

KV
