Hallo, I just want to know what is the risk(s) associated with direct steam injection when coming into contact with product & how to monitor it.

The quality of the incoming water and the lines that feed the steam boiler, the chemicals that may be used in the steam system as well as the lines feeding the production line.

 

You may also have a risk if the metals in the system including nozzles are corroding

 

The system should be part of the preventative maintenance plan, and you should be sampling the steam at the production end on a regular schedule as well as normal water sampling coming into the plant and leaving the boiler

Zero context is provided (!!!)  but I would imagine the product may be damaged.
