Hi!!

I'm working in a company that manufactures 100% juice and juice drinks and is pursuing SQF manufacturing certification. For the 100% juices we need to follow Juice HACCP but for juice drinks we need to follow PC rule (FSMA). Is there a way to integrate the Food Safety Plan in one that is SQF, Juice HACCP and FSMA compliant at the same time?

I'm struggling with that.

Thank you for your help!

Ah ha!  I, too, struggled with that question.  I came to the conclusion after much research, that if you are making 100% juice products you are exempt from certain parts of FSMA, but not others.  For the non 100% juice products "drinks" you are all FSMA.  With the types of products that we make it was impossible to keep them bundled.  I had to separate them because some had to be pasteurized and others did not and were exempt from juice haccp.  Our flow charts, product descriptions, etc. were all different.  However, many of the process controls were alike, but not all.  I am not sure if that resonates with your situation at all or not.  Sorry I could not help more!  Best wishes from the juice world.
