My company has to comply by Jan 1, 2020. We have changed about every label and are currently using them, and everything will for sure have new panel if produced after Jan 1, 2020. My question is: If we still have finished product produced before Jan 1, 2020 that has the old nutritional panel, will we be able to sell it? Or does everything sold after Jan 1, 2020 need the new label? I was thinking maybe everything produced after Jan 1 just had to have the new panel.

The best & safest thing for you to do is directly contact the FDA for questions concerning labels. I always contact them or the Dept. of Agriculture for any questions I have regarding labeling or any legal issues.

You you are correct in your thinking. You can still sell finished product with the old label as long as it was produced before January 1, 2020.

This would be great!  Do you have a reference for this information?
