Actually BRC8 makes no specific mention of a "mock recall" requirement ??

Kind Regards,

Would 3.11.3 not require the review of a mock recall to establish compliance with the clause?

"The product recall and withdrawal procedures shall be tested annually, in a way that ensures their effective operation."

Assuming a real recall has not been conducted, the mock recall would therefore be reviewed by BRC?

I may be missing something, but curious to learn why the above isn't the case

The difficulty is that BRC offer no definition of their requirements for  what is on this forum variously interpreted as "mock recall" for other Standards.

(has been discussed in previous threads here [somewhere])

Kind Regards,
