Webinar Overview:
Following recent updates to certain food safety standards SPC as a tool is now required to ensure certain processes, CCP's, and oPRP's are maintained in Statistical Control. alyssa j : This is a great tool that I used in a larger co. than I work for now.  Implementation and training of all the SQF requirements is a challenge.

Giovanni Lopez : Hello everyone - from California
Simon Timperley : Yes slides will be issued later
tina block : thank you, Simon!
McMillan Alex Manda : Hie, This is McMillan Alex Manda from Malawi-Southern Africa
Jeffery Stenner : Great news on the slides.  As an SQF Auditor, I occasionally struggle with 2.5.4.  Often I have clients that tell me that the use of statistical tools on their operation is not value added.
Nadir Ahmed : Hi from KSA
Simao Monteiro : Hi everyone from Gaia, Portugal!
alyssa j : @ Jeffery, TY for your input.  Our runs are short duration with an insignificant amount of data points to really add value. Great tool, but not a significant help for our small operation.
Mark  O Giollain  : hi to everyone from Ireland
Rajeev Sankar : Good afternoon all
Andy Keller : alyssa j, there's nothing to prevent you from stringing along multiple days of data points.
alyssa j : Andy, agreed.
tina block : This is a very good tool to know your production capability. At first this was not welcomed by operations in my plant but continuous discussion operations are now seeing the value of SPC.
tina block : this webinar would help me a lot in educating my co workers the value of SPC.
Simao Monteiro : Not Parato! PARETO!
Simon Timperley : Correct Simao
Chris mcdonald : you say Parato, i say Pareto
Simon Timperley : I was going to say that Chris, but didn't think it was becoming of me.
Alison Sandness : What would be the best way to implement SPC in a plant that runs multiple products with different specifications per day?
Chris mcdonald : rise above dear Simon, rise above
Simon Timperley : :-)
alyssa j : Tina, do the operators interpret and respond to the data or the managers?
Jeffery Stenner : You say Potato, I say Pototo........
Margaret Ngwira : hello everybody linga winery Malawi
Simon Timperley : let's call the whole thing off.
tina block : @Alyssa I started with management, now I am with the operators themselves
tina block : The operators know their lines or equipment and they should be able to know which adjustment to make depending on the data gathered and after them seeing the variations
alyssa j : @ Tina, in my experience, that is the best place to have it, real time.
Andy Keller : I like this validation tool. Could we "steal", sorry, "download" this?
tina block : @Alyssa, I am the QC manager, instead me of doing the monitoring, let the operators do the monitoring and improvement.
Rose Kwan : Hello!
Sujit Kumar : i am unable to connect
Chris mcdonald : try chrome Sujit
tina block : @Andy, Simon will be sharing the slides
Sarah Muncy : How would you perform SPC on pass/fail data?
Sujit Kumar : i am from india and using chrome it happened first time
Mark  O Giollain  : this is like being in college again, with George giving my class lectures on food standards. he is really
Chris mcdonald : press F5 Sujit
Shiva Rao : very nice presentation on application of SPC in food industry.. Thank you very much George...
Simao Monteiro : nice presentation!
Asish kumar pal : George very nice presentation
G Nagalingam : How product yield can be dipicted better way?
EBANDJI BETTINA : WHAT'S THE LEASE NUMBER OF DATA YOU NEED TO PERFORM SPC
mojgan pourmoghim : Thanks a lot George
DEMETRI PREONAS : What was the site for the software you mentioned.
Sandra  Darmer : thank you George. it was great to listen to you!!
alyssa j : https://safefood360....download/#tools
Robin Mosher : Lots of good information
maria de las nieves medina : THANK FOR THE PRESENTATION
Dr.Seema Ashraf : here is some networking problem ,PLEASE send me ppt link /slides notes and also contact on the presenter
Alison Sandness : What would be the best way to implement SPC in a plant that runs multiple products with different specifications per day?
Nurani Sinaga : Thank you George and Simon.
G Nagalingam : Very nicely presented
Jeffery Stenner : Presentations this make me wish I was still working in an operation as opposed to being an auditor.  The use of some of these amazing software packages such as Safefood 360, Trace Gains is just fascinating.  Exciting time to be in the food industry.
Sarah Muncy : Thanks George!
Tristan Binkley : Do those tools you provided go over the the mathematical side of statistical analysis for those of us who haven't been in a statistics class for a few years and need a refresher?
Earle Stewart : Great presentation
Edward Arndt : Find a target specification for each run and plot plus or minus the target.
Ioannis  Karayiannis  : If we build a control chart thats out of control, can we remove the out of control points to redifine parameters like mean? If yes how much can/should we remove?
M Krishnamoorthy : Very useful information
Rudi  Visser : Thank you for the nice presentation!
Dr.Seema Ashraf : which one method is more efficient for an auditor from SPC
Tristan Binkley : Thank you
Sandra  Darmer : would Safe food 360 software be any use in the data analysis of the food safety? and is the software available in spanish , Portuguese and Polish?
Dionicio Deocariza : Thank You..Nice & Great Presentation..Simplified & very Useful
Marlene Ramirez : I could not see anything :-(
tina block : The presentation is very good!
Patricia Briceño : What would be the best number of measures to run a validation
Asish kumar pal : Great, will attend
Federico Lopez : is this webinar recorded and available?
Ioannis  Karayiannis  : If a point in a control chart is directly in the upper/lower limit, is the process out of control?
mojgan pourmoghim : Sometimes I had some networking problem ,Would you please send me ppt or pdf link - slide notes and presenters  contact ?
Mark  O Giollain  : Thanks George,  from TU Dublin
tina block : George, some say, 40 data points is fine, is this correct?
Barbara Ellena : May I ask You what is the difference between the software you propose and Minitab?
Theresa  Dunkley-Verhage : What qualifications deem someone to be qualified to interpret SPC data? Do any standards define this?
Shiva Rao : minitab is one of the best tool that i have come acroos
MUHAMMAD ADNAN : What about data transformation for statistical analysis?
Theresa  Dunkley-Verhage : Thanks.
Shiva Rao : Minitab is widely used in industry to understand and carry out process capability studies and statistical analysis..
Jeffery Stenner : I would offer that Minitab is a statistical analysis program.  Safefood 360 has a wider scope of applications that can be used in a food processing operation.
G Nagalingam : This  less thsn 3standard deviation can be applied for all process attributes?
Melanie Driedger : Are there any books you would recommend on SPC for the food industry?
Shiva Rao : yes
Shiva Rao : its very userfriendly
Sandra  Darmer : Thank You George. it was awesome like your lecturers! :)
Esraa Ahmed Mohamed Mousa : thanks
G Nagalingam : Nice
Nour Antabli : Thank you!!
Andy Keller : Thanks again!
Stratos Angelopoulos  : Thank you for the presentation..
