My own experience with Cert ID was not good, they said one thing and then did something else, wasting my time.

We use and recommend CICS.

Thank you, but we have to use Costco approved certification body for Canada, Japan and Korea. Unfortunately,CICS is not in their list.

TERRIBLE....at a former facility a number of our customers (we supplied bulk ingredients to them) used them for non-GMO certification.  As such, we had to provide a myriad of supporting records, docs, etc.  Their turn around time was horribly slow and as someone noted very inconsistent in application of the requirements.

It's interesting that cert bodies' local offices seem to perhaps have a big impact on performance in different regions?
Cert ID's UK operations seem to be well respected - we have a large number of customers using them and every one I speak to about cert bodies recommends them highly, and if we moved away from our current then they'd be the frontrunner for our BRC / BRC Agents & Brokers.

We also use them for non-GMO certification for a few lines for specific customers, although they've now split that out into their "Foodchain ID" brand, and again we've only had good experiences. There is a lot of information and the process is a pain, but that is a reflection of the retailer requirements behind the particular standard in question - CertID themselves have been nothing but proactive and helpful throughout the process.
