This webinar on food allergen labeling requirements will define a food allergen, distinguish between labeling foods with "contains", "may contain" and "gluten free" labeling and declarations of sulphites in foods. It will discuss the FDA guidance for the food industry (FDA Food Labeling Guide).

This webinar will review the FDA guidance for labeling of food products, outline the appendixes in the guidance and help you clearly understand the requirements. We will also explain FDA's proposal to allow some amount of gluten in foods to be labelled Gluten Free and the associated risks and benefits.
