Webinar Overview:
Developing a new product is always challenging for the company. This means that you need to take care of the number of aspects from taste, colour, packaging to marketing and market positioning of your new product. On this path the majority of producers only focus on quality aspects of the product forgetting basic thing that is food safety. In this topic, we are going to talk about the product development steps and food safety aspects that need to be considered in each step. Finally, we will explain how to handle the financial expenses of the food safety in the process of developing new products for small producers.

Would the company still be on the safe side if they adopted their initial food safety study for xxx but add the new information for product yyy? Or do they have to develop new protocol for new product
mary madison : Shelf life can be first vetted by water activity.  That will give you a basis of how long , as products have a shelf life based on AW.  You can buy a meter and do in house
Dr Ranju Chopra Chopra : Can we put the product in the market without shelf life study of 12 months.  In stead we had done the accelerated shelf life study at 40C.
