I work for a frozen food production facility we are looking for a laboratory in the US that performs  investigative testing.

We are investigating a consumer complaint and were looking to confirm identity of foreign object returned by consumer. All suggestions of labs to reach out to are much appreciated.

you may be needing a lab with HPLC capability

Did you try Bureau Veritas?  Their environmental division should be able to assist

It sounds like you may have a foreign material that a customer claims is a "bug part" or something like that. Some universities have insect labs in their entomology departments that will identify insects for you. They might not be able to do a full ID off a partial part, but being able to tell whether a piece is simply "bug or not" should be possible.
