Hi guys,

I am looking to purchase rapid swab test kits to validate mollusks allergens. (Not ELISA kit)

Do you have any leads?

Thank you in advance.

Hi tharinduth,

I deduce you're seeking a qualitative test.

Seems elusive.

Kind Regards,

I use Hygiena Allersnap Crustacea. Results in 30 minutes and no mess.

You will need a small incubator. I use one also made by Hygiena.

It cost about $300 for the incubator and $200 for 100 swabs.

When comparing to a test like Reveal 3D, this is cheaper after a year of use.

Hope this helps!

Is this good to detect mollusk allergen residues?

You're right. The website preview on Google lists mollusks as testable, but the actual swabs' spec sheets do not.

My apologies. I could have sworn Hygiena had that option because I saw it while looking for oyster swabs.
