ISO 22000 standard has been transformed into a China national standard in 2006.But now only few food companies have been certified. This is due to many reasons. On the one hand , local CBs are still not accredited by CNCA to carry out this business. On the other hand, food compony are still in the stage of understanding this standard.I have audited some sites for a DIS vervison of this standard. In fact ,many clauses are not really understood by staff of orginzations, especailly 7.8,8.4,8.3,etc.

Wow! This really is a tremendous opportunity for anyone who understands ISO 22000 and can speak Chinese. Unfortunately I'm out on both counts.

Helo beermanofchina,

Interesting post! Is 22K well understood in China, is the governement implied in order to improve food safety - as some news explained it the last few months, or do they 'prefer' some other quality systems ?

Regards,

Emmanuel.
