Anyone know if a list of EEC approved processing plants exist? I am aware of the UK plants listed on the FSA website but can't seem to find a list of European plants - in particular I am interested in finding our specific sites manufacturing specific ready meals.

Dear Jarve,

I think you will find it depends on the product.

Not 100% sure about intra-EC processors but for example if the item is seafood, all EC-external processors are reqired to be EC approved for their export and then given a number. The list is viewable if you know where to look.(from memory it's on the FAO website but used to be well-hidden  ) My guess is that even-handedness demands similar treatment to within-EC plants. Maybe the list is combined, I can't remember.

Kind Regards,
