Hello all

I am looking at getting some external taste panelling done. Specifically we are looking for an attributes test- graphed and any other information that is pertinent- such as appearance description. Having used a basic panel at Campden, 4 trained panellists, i was not happy with the information returned. Does anyone have any ideas on other companies to use for this type of work?

This is for potatoes and bringing new varieties to market.

Hi ads78,

Not sure if it is accessible for you, but, how about 21st Sensory?

Sensory evaluation is still better to be done in house, as you guys know your products best and can provide a more accurate profile/texture description for your customers.

Maybe it is worth it to invest and train a sensory analyst?

Or if you just want some consumer preference/trends, then maybe you can try GNPD?
