Could be Simon.

We have a very experienced set of guys on the HACCP Team and have produced an effective Hazard and Risk Analysis system. This is generally complimented upon by external parties (so no issues with "competence"), but the one weakness we have is that no-one has been officially trained in the priciples of HACCP.

This is the box that our customer is looking to tick. As a result, we are probably looking for something at the 'Intermediate' level.

Hopefully something has changed on this in the last 5 years!

Does anyone know of anyone that does on site training for this in the UK please? I need to do the two day BRC HACCP course but the rest of the team only need a basic refresher. The last HACCP training was carried out in 2013, I believe this was done by our consultant at the time. We haven't used him as a consultant for probably 5 years and he is now regularly our auditor so we can't ask him to do the training again! We already have the HACCP plan in place and have never had any issues with it so just need someone to come in to give an overview to the team.

Any help will be appreciated.

Two options we've found useful for this type of thing:

1) Combination of internal training delivered by team leader (I'll talk through HACCP principles with specific reference to our products/plan etc) and online Level 2, which lots of places now offer and is very cost effective.

2) Try calling your local EHO and see what they can do. We've had them do everyone in the factory to Level 2 in one big group session, for an extremely reasonable price, and it has the added benefit of fostering strong positive links with the local Environmental Health department.
