Dear list members,

During FSSC 22000 DRIA, audit found that OPRP and CCP was not categorized. Hence he raised as Major nonconformity.

will it be a major non conformity or minor nonconformity.
as per my knowledge CCP has/need more hazard control than OPRP. so this may not be a major NC.

Please give your comments.

regards / bala

Dear bala,

If you do not carry out the OPRP/CCP categorisation, the auditor will logically deduce that either you hv not read the standard or simply failed to understand it's objectives.

This aspect (in conjunction with the emphasis on control measures) is one of the most important concepts of the ISO 22000 standard.

Kind Regards,

Dear bala, to categroised CCP is the key of success of your haccp system. selection of incorrect OPRP and CCP lead you completely in wrong direction, so this is a major nonconfirmity.
