Is there any problem can happen if we use 1 autoclave for both sterlization of media, utensils etc and decontamination of used media, culture plates etc....Is this a violation of GLP?some auditors strongly suggest for two separate autoclaves for this purpose?what is International standards are describing this matter???

As per GLP should have two Autoclaves why because there is chancess of cross contamination and will get fault micro results ..

one for Media preparion and other one will be using for destory and discard the culture media (Inculated and contaminated) ..

Isn't the use of 2 autoclaves to prevent cross-contamination counter-intuitive? If you have micro cross-contamination using a single autoclave, then your autoclave is not operating properly in the first place...
