What is the meaning of SSOP?

i have confusion about  the meaning of ssop.someone tells me is only about cleaning/sanitation,someone says that also to measure temperature is ssop procedure,why?

SSOP is the the acronym for Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure. SSOP's are a document that describe a procedure for cleaning and/or sanitizing something and typically include materials needed to perform the procedure, personal protective equipment necessary to safely carry out the procedure, responsibilities, and a thorough description as to how the procedure is to be performed.

The scope may depend on the context, eg consider this wide-ranging interpretation -
