Need some help for my internship

Hello everyone,

I need some help from you guys. I need the complete BRC or the part about knives for my internship at Vezet, in Warmenhuizen, the Netherlands. That is a fruits and vegatables cutting company with around 1100 employees.

My assignment for my internship is to make a systeem for tracing al the knives (more than 5000) in the whole company. We laser a QR-code on each knife and when you scan it you know everything about that knife. This all can be controlled through Maximo.

I hope you guys understand me (sorry for my bad English ) and able to help me. I am really looking forward to your answers.

Please help me to better understand your question. I understand Maximo to be maintenance software made by IBM that could be used to track the life cycle of a tool. 

What part of the BRC standard are you seeking to satisfy?  2.2.1? 4.6?
