Hi All,

I have just come out of a WW Hygiene & PPC audit, one of the non-conformances is a labelling & date coding procedure, the clause states: " All products labelling and coding must conform to Woolworths policy, finished goods specification as well as relevant legislation"

We currently only label products with Sell by dates & use by dates & the supplier code as products gets packed into pre-printed bags.

The pre-printed bags get labelled in the morning with the information as per the PO and an example of the label is attached to the PO and the packing sheets for traceability purposes.

I am not entirely sure what is required in this procedure, can anyone else shed some light on this?

Kind Regards,

Ashnee

Dear Ashnee,

It sounds like you need to study the Woolworths Standard  which from memory is directly available on their website.

Agree with Charles, the Woolworths standard is very specific with regards wot product labelling and date coding, have a read of the relevant section and ensure you systems are compliant then document what you do to ensure you are compliant
