Green Scrubby Alternative

There are white scrub pads that you want.

They do not have sponges attached (yuck!) and they won't scratch your stainless.

Nearly all food equipment suppliers have them.  White scrubbies... I'm telling you they are great!

Hi,

I'm looking to get rid of the yellow sponge /green scrubby combo tool that is wildly popular but collects bacteria like a mo fo and leave tiny bits of green on equipment.  Most of the equipment is stainless steel and they're using a degreaser to clean.  Disposable paper towel don't have that grip/scrub action that they want, and steel wool or brass pads have that same falling to bits issue.

Anyone know of a suitable alternative?  Any suggestions appreciated

BEAUTIFUL.  Thank you.

I was a little scared cuz nothing is real today .. but won't they have the same degrading issues at green scrubbies?

I don't think I ever saw or heard of them leaving bits behind...  Green scrubbies always do that for the first... so many times... they are used.  It even happens in my sink because I use them to clean dishes (I hope I'm not the only one lol).

They work really well we used them in the Yogurt plant I worked in.

Well we never had a problem with it.  That's what the quality manager wanted to be used.

How would you have known if the white scubbies were 'shedding'?

Observe what your scrubbing... But remember all of the equipment that the yogurt/milk went through were cleaned mostly by CIP.  We used the white scrubbies on the outside of equipment and the belts the cups rode on.  I think the inside of the filler as well on the belt but those were removed at the time.

I actually like the white because at least it will contrast with our dark product, so I can see the bits.  I just wanted something that wouldn't leave bits.  No bits? Cool, good to go.

But a few high quality ones and test them.  I don't want you screaming at me because you have white bits lol :roflmao:

But I don't think that'll happen.
