As the site has become busier I have noticed that it is sometimes slow to connect to the website and it has crashed once or twice.  I asked the server management to look at it and they have made some optimizations.  This was carried out at the weekend.

If it does not improve speed and stability then I will upgrade the server to give more, space, memory and processing power, which will make it super-fast and allow for a lot more growth.  It's a matter of when not if, but it increases cost.

Please let me know your experience with the site speed and availability and in particular if you have noticed an improvement this week.

Thanks,

Simon

I've run into a bit of slow update speeds here and there.  I just figured it was the internet where I work I have massive issues with some basic sites like map sites (google maps and mapquest for example).

That being said "Ludicrous Speed! GO!!!!" :roflmao:

Hi Simon

I've never had an issue other than slow file uploads (caused by my (now cancelled!!) slow BT broadband at home!)

Nice to know the site will now be faster though! -(hopefully you won't have to spend ££££££££ on a server upgrade!)
