Winter Sanitation Schedule

I was curious if anyone had an example of a winter sanitation Schedule, I need to modify my SSOP for our winter months and I am having a hard time deciding what needs to stay and what can go!

Interesting question!  What changes with your process in the winter? It may help to know what you are making, how it changes in the winter months, why, etc etc.

We process in shell almonds for further processing. Our packline and warehouse sanitation will stay the same, but I am looking for help with our other tasks through out the facility. During the winter months we do not have designated staff for sanitation of the other areas of the plant.

A little more explanation may be helpful.  What changes, for example, a reduction in staff, challenges due to temperature, type of equipment involved.  

we have reduced our staff, the weather is a big part of it. A lot of our tasks are outside and I do not want my staff in bad weather if it isn't necessary. For example, do I really need to wash the forklifts every month when we arent using them all and it is raining?

Most of time we all have to create our own schedule based on our environment and conditions.  Most likely we can offer advice, but you will need to create your schedule, and do a risk assessment.  This way to you can say to an auditor we don't wash the forklifts when they are inactive.  They are cleaned before they are put into use.  Most auditors (crazy ones excluded)  will understand and get it.  The risk assessment justifies the schedule.
