Hi everyone , may I request for any member of this group copy of the standard, need to review the said standard for comparison with ISO 22000. I am still confused which of the two I would recommend we opt for certification.

Dear dianasamson,

afaik, the standard is copyright.

BRC website used to offer a free shortened version with the auditable text called the "packaging self-assessment tool" but I think no longer on website. Could try googling.

BRC Version 7 us free online at http://www.brcbooksh...378/food-safety. This comes into effect in the summer. Whilst the standard itself is free, notes and support are 95 sterling a year. There is a clause in section 1 that essentially makes you pay this to comply with the standard. Very clever, those BRC chaps.

Version 6 is, as Charles correctly points out, is subjected to copyright and is not available legally online.

Dear dianasamson,

Food or Packaging ? Only you know the answer ? And possibly Shakespeare  .

Please clarify the suspense.

PS - mention of a Version number would have helped. And possibly a High/Low .

Kind Regards,

Dear dianasamson,

If i understand correctly, the previous posts should enable ca. 75% success. (100% if only auditable Packaging content required).
