Hi

I have just completed our gap analysis to acheive BRC V7 and having difficulty interpreting how to overcome section 4.16.5 when using pallet networks, couriers (Small parcels) and the postal system. This needs to include restrictions on mixed loads, security and breakdown / accident etc which would be almst ipossible to get agreement.

Anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Simon

I think this clause refers just to modes of transport for food products, since it is a Food safety standard, but maybe I am wrong and have a big hole in a system

Are you sending Food products by post or courier?

Does the product require temperature control?

If so then yes you will need to have them signed up to a code of practice. If the post and couriers are for non food items then it's not an issue.

I'm entitled to my opinion, even a stopped clock is right twice a day
