Can anyone tell me how much this software costs approximately?  I'm looking for a range, if possible.  From the "low end" (Essential) to the "high end" (Enterprise).  Please & thank you.

I suggest that since this software appears to be sold by modules, you should ask for a quote for the modules you think would help you.  You can ask for multiple quotes, and ask for the bare bones model to the one that will make your coffee for you.

These kinds of management software packages are usually not a single price, but there is a huge range of pricing depending on how many modules you purchase and how much support and integration assistance you will be buying.  Also remember to ask if this software is sold on a "seat" basis (how many computers can be using it at any given time) or a "key" basis (how many computers it can be loaded onto.)  It may be an unlimited package that is Internet based as well.  All these will affect the price.

It's proven too expensive for the client I suggested it to. But have a chat with them, it depends on how highly your management regard food safety ( in  my case not highly enough!!).

All I am going to say is that it is MUCH more cost-effective than most of the other ones on the market, as it is all-inclusive (not sold in individual modules).  We absolutely love it.  And Philip is awesome to work with :).

Hello,

We are looking into the possibility of using food safety software for our feed/food production business, but we're a VERY small company with almost no capital available for software (or anything else, honestly).  We only have 5 employees, and we only make two products that have a very slim margin.  We're going to be seeking SQF Level II certification sometime later this year.  I realize that no one likes to talk about price, which seems strange to me, but I don't want to waste my time talking to someone if this isn't even in our financial ballpark.  So, what is the actual price of this software?  Is it sold in a lump price, or monthly subscription?  I don't want to talk to anyone at the software company - I want to hear it from people who actually use it, to know if the true cost and if it's worth the price.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

For the price, perhaps refer Posts #3 and 5 ?

I'm sure Safefood 360 are a reputable operation.

Kind Regards,

Hi Brian,

I know you don’t necessarily want to hear from us, but as you are in our forum(!)… here goes…

Judging by your post above and your other request for free inventory software we would not be a good fit for you. Instead, I would highly recommend that you purchase the IFSQN’s “SQF Code Edition 7.2 Implementation Package for Food Manufacturers” which will give you the system without the software.

When the company you work for is a little bigger and has the wherewithal to purchase business software you should come back to us.

For anyone else who may stumble across this thread, SF360 does operate a ‘standard’ price list and is a fixed all-inclusive annual recurring fee. The reasons why we do not publish pricing on our website is as follows;
  • The software is continually evolving (for the better) and this impacts the pricing. Therefore it is quite likely that if you purchased SF360 two years ago you will be paying a different (lower) price than if you purchased it today.
  • We operate in every geographic market and have numerous currencies to deal with. Administratively it is easier to not have to manage this on a public facing website.
  • Competitive reasons, albeit of least concern.
Of course we would be happy to send you our standard price list if you drop an email to team@safefood360.com

Thanks,
Philip.

Hello Philip,

I believe you are correct - this is not the right software for us at this time.

Thank you,

Brian
