Hi friends,

We are using Charm Science-novaLUM ATP Swabs for monitoring cleanlyness in our animal house. I would like have some literatures or anyone's experiences to fix the RLU limits.

Thanks

Kishore

Hi kishore,

I think the exercise you refer is known as defining a baseline.

Basically consists of carrying out repeated measurements on conditions which are (by your own criteria) scoreable in respect to degree of satisfaction.

Basic statistics then permits some subjective setting of appropriate limits.

Some food manufacturer's further illustrate how their proposed ranges vary with product/process style.

Various procedures are detailed on this forum but will presumably not relate to yr animal system.

I suggest a call to the unit's manufacturer.

Kind Regards,

Charles.C
