Good Afternoon All,

I am new to the site so please be gentle with me....

I am looking to do a thorough review of our BRC Packaging (Basic Hygiene) Hazard & Risk Management system and was wondering if any kind people would happen to have some good examples to take guidance from?

Thanks in advance

David

Hi David,

Welcome to the Forum ! :welcome:

Not a Packaging person myself but yr request is maybe a bit wide scope.

Clause 2.2 seems related to hazard and risk analysis.

Is any particular aspect/sub-clause of clause 2.2 of particular interest ?

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Hi David, welcome to the IFSQN.

Do you mean you are reviewing your HACCP manual?

If so it may be an idea for you to post it for others to comment.

At the very least let us know more about your products and process.

Regards,

Simon

Good Morning,

The industry is non food contact (secondary) corrugated packaging.

Currently got an HACCP study in place but shouldn't it be classed as a HaRM study?

Think the current study covers all the essentials but just looking to "refresh" what I have got.

Regards

David

HARM/HACCP its the same thing David. The BRC people thought that packaging people were scared of the term HACCP way back, so they just confused them instead.

This is a bit of a guessing game, so what have you got and have you covered the issue 5 requirements?  Are you not happy with your current layout or something or have you been getting NC's with it?  If it is meeting all requirements I wouldn't bother refreshing it just for aesthetic purposes...unless it's especially hard to navigate.

Regards,

Simon

you add attachments by first clicking the "more reply options" box at bottom right which generates a new display. Then follow the new instructions at bottom left hand side.
