Hello,

Is it possible to have in the production and storage area windows and skylights made of laminated glass (glass that holds together when shattered)?

Or even with this type of glass we have to protect the windows and skylights with apropriate film?

Should the windows of the office areas have protection against pests or is just enough in production and storage areas?

thanks

Hi Catarina,

:welcome:

4.2.4 Where they constitute a risk to product, and based on the likelihood and risk of contamination, windows and roof glazing shall be protected against breakage.

So in open product areas they will need to be protected if there is a risk of product contamination if there was a breakage.

For offices insect screens aren't necessary unless they are in close proximity to product areas and allow access of pests such as flying insects.

Kind regards,

Tony
