Short introduction: registered BRC consultant:

 

Ton is an experienced food-technologist, with technical skills. After graduation from the HAS University of Applied Sciences in 1991, he worked over 12 years in the egg-processing industry. Since 2005 Ton works at Van Voorst Consult. He has built up a lot of expertise in the implementation, auditing and training of food standards in The Netherlands and other European countries. Over 100 successfully finished projects in food and non-food and a considerable number of companies who successfully achieved BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification or BRC Global Standard for packaging certification. Ton is an IRCA registered QMS Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Keywords that describe Ton: serious, quiet of nature, social, honest and loyal. Mission-oriented management. Analytical, constantly guarding the overview, but also guarding the details. Van Voorst Consult (VVC) guides companies to gain certification by implementing management systems, not only on the field of food safety but also management systems in the field of quality management, environment and health and safety . The size of the companies VVC works with are small and medium sized, but also businesses on corporate and international levels. Van Voorst Consult has a no nonsense work approaches. Working with the “EasyTool systematic” results in a small workable quality manual. The focus is on the implementation in practice. The working fields of Van Voorst Consult during a food-related project can be split in:

 

• Consulting;

• Provision of “external expertise” to review and develop Food Safety/HACCP Systems;

• Internal audits;

• Supplier approval including second party audits;

• Training : HACCP-team, introduction training BRC, training internal auditors, training employees.
