Hi KC@ispi ,
SOP structure is differs according to the target and the scheme which it is issued for , as example if you want to write a SOP for laboratory , it will be different than pest control , also the process some time it make different some needs validation /verification others not . Actually in SOP nothing is Absolute you can add or remove ,it is up to you according to the system you what to deploy or comply with
there is also a thread regarding this in IFSQN
http://www.ifsqn.com...sops-and-ssops/
There is a common criteria you can use , I like to keep in my procedures :
Cover page : declare the Document ID number ( document control ) reference , the SOP name , Author ,version , date of issue , replacements ( if this document replaces previous one )
Index of contents .
Introduction : to explain briefly the topic and distribution list.
Purpose : to state why this is procedure is issued and what it is for.
Scope : to state the scope of this procedure , the area ,location product ,..... that this procedure is applied for ,for example release of finished products .
Target Audience : here who should comply with this SOP
Definitions : all the symbols , expressions , acronyms , abbreviations shall be elaborated in this section.
Procedure : the flow of the processes step by step and it should include who will do what when ,where and How .
Responsibilities : here you should state the responsibility of each person mentioned in the procedure ( although it may be repetition of procedure , but it specified to each one what is his role in this process )
Validation / verification : if required
effeciency /KPI's : if required
Records : all the records related should be listed here
Reference / linked document : all related references ,abstracts , related SOP's ,...
Appendix : example of the records or other samples
