Dear all 

In third party audit the NC is raised. Please suggest me how to calibrate U.V light and LAF. Give the tested  parameters .

Please, any one give the format of UV light and LAF calibration.

You may have to contact LAF manufacturer to understand the calibration that they may perform. If not they may at least suggest you a third party that can perform the calibration.

 

UV tubes have a defined life in hours to be effective- you must monitor usage hours of UV and replace tubes after the usage hours are over. Your UV supplier can provide this info to you. One simple but not very objective way is to expose a plate with high measured count under UV for definitive period and reassess the effectiveness basis count post exposure.

Hi,

similar to above we record the run hours. We change the tubes at the target run hours suggested by the manufacturer. I suppose what you are using the tubes for is also a factor. We are using them to cure printing in on our food packaging. For this there is some software and a spectrophotometer which measures the light emitted from the bulb. We work with D50 bulbs to the ISO3664 using Babel colour software.
