Hello!!!

Good Day!

Can somebody further explain what is Declaration of Compliance (DoC)?  One of our affiliate is producing sanitary tin cans intended for canned tuna, in the statement  below, canned tuna is not included (I think it should be included because it;s a direct contact to food packaging)

"The DoC is mandatory within the EU for plastics (including recycled plastics), ceramics, regenerated cellulose, active and intelligent packaging"

Thanks,

Chastine

Hello again!!!

As an addition, for sanitary cans usually we provide third part lab results for the migration testing (usually from Switzerland).  Do we need to provide Declaration of Compliance (DoC)?  Our QC use EU 10/2011 as one of the reference regulations.  As per our experience, our third party auditors (for BRC and IFS) accepts the third party lab results

Thank you,

Chastine
