Hi smart17,

The sanitizer we use at our facility is from a brand called Food Tech which our supplier buys from Specialised Aerosols. As for a degreaser, we use a product called Mastersolve and I recommend it highly (it is food grade). We found this at antigraffitipaint.co.uk (if you google mastersolve it'll be the first option). Hope this helps.

Hi Smart17,

We use Zenith Hygiene (CCL Pentasol). I've used them at another site I worked at. An alternative is Klenzan, who I've also used in the past

I would like to recommend you to take a look in the product range of interflon (http://interflon.com/gb/). They provide a range of food grade lubricants, degreasers, etc. We are using their products for several years now. Interflon provides allergen declaration, NSF declaration, substance and heavy metal declaration for all their products ;).

If it comes to food grade sanitizers (i suppose you mean disinfectants or biocides?) the most important thing to look into, is in which Product Type group they're allowed to use. In EU there is the Biocide Product Regulation which regulates the entrance of biocide on the EU market. Product Type 4 (PT4), is allowed to be used in Food and Feed area:

4 Food and feed area Products used for the disinfection of equipment, containers, consumption utensils, surfaces or pipework associated with the production, transport, storage, or consumption of food or feed (including drinking water) for humans and animals. Products used to impregnate materials that may enter into contact with food.

more info on this can be found on the website of UK authority HSE http://www.hse.gov.u...oduct-types.htm

Hope this will help you!
