Please advice the measures to be taken to reduce losses while processing UHT Milk by reconstituting milk powder?

Specification of UHT grade milk powder (share if you have a COA of UHT grade milk powder of both whole milk and skim milk)

Precautions while preparing the Mix

Hi Dany,

:welcome:

Welcome to the IFSQN forums.

One method is to make a 'concentrated' batch and when you process use your water purges to dilute to the correct solids levels. This reduces losses from water purges but requires a consistency in batch sizes, purge times and concentration.

Kind regards,
