Hello to everyone.

The use of E551 in the E250 is acceptable as a technological aid. When a meat producer for sausages buys & use A blend of E250 with E551 in it in the label can ommit the E551 as it has no functional use in his product (sausage)? If yes (as I assume) then in which legal or scientific material can he base his label.

Thank you

Study the labelling requirements of USFDA/codex that is also guidelines applicable to food industry

As I know all ingredients need be mentioned on the label under some limitations.
Go through it.

Hi,
You refer to EU regulation: no labelling required in EC.
