Dear all,

We are currently upgrading our food safety certificate from ISO22000 to FSSSC 22000  v1.

We also have an integrated manual with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000. In this way, should I add the ISO22002 clauses detailed in ISO22000 7.2.3 in the same manual? or Do you suggest a food safety manual? I get confused in updating the integrated manual. Do I have to FSSC training in this transition?

Any comments or suggestion would be useful for me.

Thank you in advance!

Selin

Hi Selin,

To meet the FSCC 22000 Certification Scheme requirements you will need to add:
Sector specific pre-requisite programs (PRPs) requirements. For Food Manufacturers TS/ISO 22002-1
and Additional requirements in FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM CERTIFICATION 22000 Part II: Requirements for Certification

As long as they are documented and controlled it doesn't matter which manual they are in, some people have a separate prerequisite programmes manual (e.g. good manufacturing practice manual), others include in a food safety manual.

Kind regards,

Tony
