Looking for tool to melt rice syrup, currently using totes and filling pales.

These pales are gravity dispensed and takes long. Any ideas of what tools or sites to shop?

Thank you.

Hi mp42, personally we use Bane Marie's and / or heated water baths. I'm not sure if there is a tool of sorts i imagine good old hot water in a purpose built bath is the best you are going to get. Sometimes there are company's who specialise in making more thick product more workable but it comes at a price.

Hi MP42,

You can buy heating jackets or belts to warm a tote or drum- search for 'tote heating jacket' or 'tote heating belt'. You will probably need some shear mixing also- search for 'tote mixer'- these are generally just immersion blenders on a frame that can attach to a tote. For a viscous liquid such as syrup, make sure that the motor you buy for the mixer is powerful enough.
