Good day to you all.

Our lab is currently trying to obtain strain Clostridium perfrigens,as spores. Demanded shipping time is pretty long, and while we wait for it, we came to an idea to make strain spores out of our Clostridium perfrigens ATCC 13124, that we have in stock. Does anyone has any kind of experience with this? Do you maybe have any procedure that you follow, some advice, anything?Any help will be welcomed.

Best regards,

Janie

Hi Charles.

Well, we are trying to validate standard SRPS EN 26461-2:2009 Water quality - Detection and enumeration of the spores of sulfite-reducing anaerobes (clostridia) - Part 2: Method by membrane filtration

Ahh,OK. Good Luck with that !.

No experience this measurement but seems likely to be negative unless polluted water.

JFI I noticed this article -

Attached File  Evaluation membrane filtration method for enumeration C.perfringens in water..pdf   152.06KB   7 downloads
