Hello,

i am currently do a survey about sesame seeds.

I am looking moslty about hulled sesame seeds from Sudan, Nigeria, India, and Mozambique.

I am trying to find the difference between the nutritional values according different origins.

For example Sudanese sesame have more oil content than sesame seeds from Mozambique.

Does anyone have any spesifications from the different types of sesame seeds??

thanks in advance.

out of curiosity....why?  Working on a thesis?

I would imagine that you are also taking into account the subspecies of sesame seeds in question as well as inputs (rain, agricultural additives etc) that are added to the fields?

No. I just need some information because i am in a project in my work. But just looking around the net, i found nothing.

I just need to know for example if sudanese sesame seeds has more oil index and less protein index than nigerian sesame seeds etc.

the subspecies have of course to do with all these, but i believe that the enviromental parameters are most important, and that's why i'm looking just the origin and not the subspecies of the seeds.
